Fun and adventure starts with us and we’ve been doing it for over 75 years. Hop on to see and know Seattle like a local with stunning views, neat history, and, of course, a full service bar. It is derived from the 16th century city Ragusa[3] (now Dubrovnik, in Croatia), a major shipping power of the day and entered the language through the Italian ragusea, meaning a Ragusan ship.

City break low impact eco-friendly day tours and multi-day packages in Athens and the Attica region – active and leisure choices. Aegea Adventures offers soft adventure and leisure tours to travelers who seek out alternative but comfortable ways to discover a foreign country. Actively learning and being informed on current issues affecting our planet is such a major plus! Similar to volunteer events, there are many educational events open to the public for many to attend in the Seattle area. Topics can range from environmental issues to the importance of pollinators to the history of wildlife in Seattle.
Our Day Sails & Multi-Day Cruises
In our fleet you find “artisanal yachts,” so named because the ships are wholly handcrafted from fine woods in a traditional style. We are the exclusive source in Greece for chartering only wooden yachts. We own and operate our own wooden yacht and manage other wooden yachts in Greece. We have been cruising the waters of Seattle for over 70 years, sharing the region’s history and beauty with people from all over the world. The Harbor Cruise has snacks and sandwiches available to buy on board, as well as a fully serviced bar with local beer, wine, specialty cocktails and soft drinks available for purchase.

Argosy Cruises has been Seattle’s friend with a boat since 1949, offering narrated sightseeing cruises, private charters, and community events like the annual Christmas Ship™ Festival for over 70 years. Our Summer Views Cruise is a 1.5-hour cruise of Alki Point, Elliott Bay, and into Puget Sound at the perfect time in the evening to enjoy golden hour. There is no tour narration on the Summer Views Cruise — except a handful of must-mention moments from the captain — to allow for great conversation and a relaxed vibe. Ride the boat elevator, see two sides of the Seattle skyline, and feel the breeze off fresh and saltwater. This 2-hour, one-way cruise takes you on a journey through Seattle's waterfront neighborhoods.

Sightseeing cruises in and around Seattle
This 1.5-hour cruise is the perfect place to bask in golden hour as the sun begins to set. Head up to the top deck to take in that summer breeze and enjoy locally sourced beverages and bites while the captain takes you on a surprise route around Puget Sound and shares their favorite landmarks. This cruise is unique in that narration will be minimal so that you can socialize and take in the sights — like breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline and the Olympic Mountains. We might be biased, but we think Seattle CityPASS® tickets are the best way to experience an Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour. You can present your CityPASS® tickets at the Argosy Reservation Center at Pier 55 to receive a timed boarding pass. The accessibility of the cruise sometimes depends in part on which vessel is operating on a given day, as different ships have different levels of accessibility.
You can buy tickets online or in person at the Argosy Cruises Reservations Center located at 1101 Alaskan Way Pier 55, Seattle, WA 98101. The Locks Cruise is a one-way trip that ends at a different location than it starts – Pier 54 on the Seattle Waterfront or AGC Marina on Lake Union. If you aren’t feeling up to it, choose to take multiple modes of transportation back to your original departure location. Our exclusive cycling division, offering guided and self-guided tours on road bikes or hybrids in Greece and the Greek islands. Our sailing cruises are are featured in National Geographic Adventures.
If you get off the bus at the 1st Ave and Marion Street stop, it's about a 5-minute walk to Pier 55. Walk half a block northwest to Madison Street, turn left on Madison and walk down towards the water until you reach Alaskan Way. Turn right on Alaskan way and walk up towards Pier 55 and Argosy Cruises. We found a few events that consist of activities such as restoration of trails, gardening, and weeding of invasive species. There are several waterfront facilities that are convenient for Argosy Harbor Cruise parking.
Argosy Cruises offers another experience aside from the Harbor Tour, and CityPASS® ticket holders have the option to upgrade. You can upgrade online or exchange your CityPASS® ticket and pay the upgrade fee at the Argosy Reservation Center. You can check the Kings County Metro website for an up-to-date schedule and route map. All crewmembers are trained to assist visitors of limited mobility, and all ships are wheelchair friendly.
Argosy has put together a comprehensive resource explaining the accessibility and limitations of their vessels and facilities, and are happy to assist with any questions. With Seattle's famously inconsistent weather, you're never guaranteed a sunny day, even in the height of summer. However, the Seattle Harbor is dazzling any time of year and a bit of mist and fog can add some mystery and adventure to the experience, not to mention make you feel like a true Seattleite. With that said, it does get quite cold out on the water, so be sure to bundle up before you board during the winter months. We have combined our expertise on land and at sea in a unique concept that offers active and leisure activities exclusively on comfortable wooden yachts.
A Harbor Cruise is a unique and fun way to enjoy Seattle from the water! During this 1-hour narrated cruise, you’ll see all of the beauty and history of the Emerald City. From the skyline to the shipping port, there’s views and history everyone will enjoy. Experience our newest voyage this summer, Argosy’s Summer Views Cruise!
